Despite our generation having survived the hardship of the daily crumpled vegemite sandwich, kids these days are setting the bar a lot higher! The answer? Our delicious pizza pockets – we make the dough ourselves and use preservative (and additive free!) tomato paste and nitrate free ham making these a great lunchbox option.

Also, they contain cheese in the filling and the dough itself so they provide a more substantial option for kids who are famished by pick-up! We also use these as a quasi dinner if we’re on the run or at after school activities.

At this stage we’re starting with the kid flavour favourite – ham and cheese, but we’re hoping to add to the range in the near future.

Pizza pockets are delivered frozen and just need to be defrosted (they have already been cooked) when you’re ready. To serve once defrosted, heat them up in the microwave or oven and then pop them in a preheated thermos, or serve cold in a lunchbox with an icepack to keep them fresh.

Ingredients: mozzarella, tapioca flour, cassava flour, egg, filtered water, nitrate free ham, cheddar cheese, tomato paste, italian seasoning (gluten free), himalayan pink salt.
