A homemade version of this childhood classic, these cheese and bacon rolls combine white flour for fluffiness with wholemeal flour for extra fibre.

Then we top them with additive free cheese and free-range, pasture-raised 100% Aussie bacon. We source this bacon from a higher-welfare farm on the banks of the Hawkesbury river and unlike the vast majority of supermarket brands, this bacon contains no added nitrates, colours, flavours or preservatives.

While almost all our products are refined sugar free, we haven’t yet found an alternative to refined sugar when it comes to feeding the yeast that makes these rolls light and fluffy. But there’s only 2 teaspoons across the whole batch, so that’s less than 0.17 teaspoons of added sugar per roll and we reckon that’s pretty good!
